Honey

In Iran, different types of honey can be found due to the presence of all types of natural vegetation. Natural honey has various types which are classified taking into account different criteria. Honey is classified based on its harvest season, type of the plants fed by honey bees, etc. Honey variety is very high in Iran which we mention some of them.

Shrimp

Archeological evidence show that human being had been using shrimp from prehistorical ages. Although thousands species of shrimp have been identified so far, but only 20 species of them are being used for food consumption.
Shrimp is usually sold as a frozen product and has a high food value. Shrimp is rich in protein, iodine and calcium.
Iran is also one of the producers of shrimp which exports part of it production to foreign countries in addition to meeting the domestic need.

Yeast

Leaven or yeast is one of the various types of yeast that is used in baking all types of bread, doughnut and pizza. Using leaven results in the increase of volume, increase of nutrient value and increase of scent and taste of the bread and makes it crispy. Fermentation and swelling of bread was also important for people in the past and they used sourdough or baking soda for this purpose.

Date

Mazafati date is one of the most delicious type of date that is usually consumed as fresh fruit (Rotab). It has a dark skin and a soft texture with a humidity of 20%.

Industrial Milk Powder

Industrial milk powder

Milk powder or powdered milk is a type of milk product in which milk is vaporized and turned into a dry material. The goal of producing milk powder is to better preserve it. The useful life of milk powder is much longer than fluid milk and does not need a refrigerator due to having low humidity. Another goal of producing milk powder is to reduce its volume for saving transportation costs.
